Too Pooped To Pop

Brain shafted; two Drug #2s last night for insomnia, two more this a.m. for dental appointment. (Didn't want to be anxious.) Now want only to be in the arms of Morpheus.

Hi, MB - loved you Bastille Day post.

In the back of my mind I always think of you as French - M. Bouffant, like Monsieur.

Rest well.

So, Bouff, what sort of dental work did you get done ? Do you now have Medi-Cal and are therefore eligible for fully-paid dental?

M. le redacteur repond:

Merci mille fois, Mme. g. Though not a drop of sang français courses through our veins, we are quite the Francophile (lived in Paris in '69 & '70) & are glad you get the M. as in monsieur in the pseudonym. Few do.

Used to be "Malignant" all the time, everywhere, but as we ripen, the Big C isn't as amusing.

Toothless But Dangerous Editorial Answer:

This is funny.

Just wanted to pick up our plates, which had been sitting in the yanker's office for 1.5 yrs, but the wife/office mgr. almost insisted we let the doc take a peep into our mouth (she'd had a cencellation for Mon. @ 0830) & as it seemed to be included in the $3,800.00+ fee, we reluctantly agreed, expecting nothing much to happen, but as we sat in the chair, Painless Parker began consulting w/ the nurse as to how many stumps they could yank in the initial half-hour, & between the other appointments that day, so we had to explain that we just wanted the plastic, & would have all yanking done free somewhere like the UCLA Dental Clinic in Venice.

It's not like a dental student could really screw up a few simple extractions, is it? (Said from hospital deathbed, where several vicious post-antibiotic infections ravage our body.)

I'd been intending to drop you a line on this very subject, as in, it's Medi-Cal which covers oral activity, not Medi-Care, right, & do they both cover peepers? Not that we'll need much further dental work. Just jaws & gums from now on...
