LAst Picture Show

Clichéd sentiments & platitudes to all for the next go 'round the sun.

Wait Til Next Yr.

When will the lynchings of Congresspeople & Senators commence? (W/ or w/o "votes." If you have any string, string 'em up!!) It won't be a moment too soon.

Yr.-End Video Recrap

An awful ending to a perfectly horrid yr.: Google's "Auto Awesome" slapped together a slide show of photos used on this crummy web-log in 2013, topped w/ crummy, inoffensive robot-selected (probably robot composed & performed as well) music that I am too lazy to change. Don't care anyway, & why should I?

What Google's robots have in mind for your aesthetic future:
Great, huh?

Jesus fucking Kee-rist, can't those two assholes put some of their computing power to work doing good (instead of merely not doing harm or evil or whatever the pointless slogan is)? No, they'd rather waste their stupid robots demonstrating the ultimate aesthetic banality of virtually every humanoid* in this world of anguish fear & pain. Which is a good idea, but not even near the most important thing in the world right now.

*Tasteless, yet tastes bad. How do you do it, world?

No Problem

Thanks for killing the planet, boomers!

The world as we know it is ending, and the indifference by Americans, politicians and mainstream press is maddening

Our fucking pleasure. We won't have any use for it much longer, & it was filling up w/ tiny insignificant life forms like Tim Donovans anyway. Kind of our duty, really.

Personal note to Timmy: Best thing we could have done for the planet was not give birth to you & your cohort of haters in the first place. NO ONE IS INNOCENT YOU WORTHLESS LITTLE SHIT; WHAT PRECISELY HAVE YOU DONE TO SAVE YOURSELF? STOPPED EVEN ONE PERSON FROM EMITTING CARBON? BLOWN UP SOMETHING THAT BURNS COAL? Bet not, so climb off your high horse before someone knocks you off it.

Really Now?

No idea who "Garrow" is (beyond his being a hoot). Could be someone soap-boxing on a street corner, or transmitting by short-wave & filling. Good job, Right Wing Watch.

Garrow: Canadians Will Repress American Anti-Obama ProtestsGarrow "Exposes" Obama's Alien PlotGarrow: Obama Will Fake Alien Contact To Boost Low Poll Numbers

Hey, Moron:
Get Off My Tee Vee!!

You be the jury: A culture guerrilla (A pro good culture warrior, not a blue-nosed closet case.) takes a blade to the front of Will Farrell (whose post-humor stylings have been clogging the telly as if there were no tomorrow* since well before the solstice) extracts & stretches a good length of Farrell's slimy intestines across a street & then runs over said guts again & again & again & again & again & again & again w/ a Dodge fucking Ram. Innocent or not guilty?

Any telebision-viewing jury would be more likely to vote such a vicious sadist a medal rather than convict.

*Fingers crossed!

Knowing your species, I suppose whichever fascist jerk took the picture found my desire to be free amusing.

Why Wait?

Hey could everyone planning on losing control come New Yr.'s Eve just get it over w/ tonight? I know it's a little late to ask some of you, but you're probably sloppy drunk already; avoid the rush & drive yourselves to death tonight.

Thanks, much appreciated.

Telebision Is Not A Movie

Shoot me now, then incinerate the corpse & launch the ashes into the sun.

Studio has been developing project since 2010

Warner Bros. is sending Josh Gad to “Gilligan’s Island,” its long-in-development movie adaptation of the 1960s sitcom.

The “Book Of Mormon” thesp is on board to star and to write the script with Benji Samit and Dan Hernandez. Lloyd Schwartz — son of original show producer Sherwood Shwartz — is exec producing with Ross Schwartz, Tracey Silvers and Cathy Silvers.

Warner Bros. has not set up “Gilligan’s Island” with a producer. Variety reported in 2010 that the studio had launched development with Atlas Entertainment’s Chuck Roven and Richard Suckle* but they are no longer involved.
I'm assuming the F-Troop script is already in rewrite. (But will not Google to have my fears confirmed.)

Meanwhile, since 2003. Who has the patience?

*A damn shame Dick is no longer involved.

Drum Rôle

Literally exactly a mo. ago a yada fest at LG&M includeddevolved into discussion of the snare drum:
"(For example, I can now ID several drummers by their snare style.)"
the response (had I been there, or been awake, or even alive) to which is "Snare? Every band I've ever been in (all 1.5-ish) the first damn thing you have to tell the drummer is 'Less snare, more tom.'"

Annual Day After Xmas/Pre-New Yr. Cleansing Of The Tabs

Moving left to right:
iNternet acquaintance Spengler Dampniche is interviewed.

"Le Show" hits the Big Three-Oh; LA Observed has links.

Still Really & Truly Awful & Beneath Contempt?
Most Cheneys.

Who Got A Gun For Christmas?

And how long before whoever it is joins the ranks of FBI-determined mass shooters?

Here are some All-American inspirations for the killer w/in:

7 - Tulsa, Oklahoma: Four women ranging in ages from 23 to 55 were found in their apartment shot dead with their hands tied behind their backs. A pair of brothers was arrested for allegedly robbing and killing them.
19 - Albuquerque, New Mexico: 15-year-old Nehemiah Gringo allegedly used an AR-15 to kill his entire family—his gang-member-turned-preacher father, his mother, a 9-year-old brother, and two sisters, ages 5 and 2. He also reportedly had plans to shoot up a Walmart.

13 - Herkimer, New York: A 64-year-old "loner" died in a gun-battle with police after he killed four at a barbershop and oil-lube shop. He also killed a 2-year-old police dog, Ape, before succumbing.

18 - Akron, Ohio: Two men and two women ranging in ages from 19 to 23 were lined up in their basement and shot in the head point-blank. Two men have been arrested in connection with the murders.
22 - Federal Way, Washington: A man with a carry license killed his girlfriend, then shot three other neighbors in her apartment complex to death before himself being killed by shots from eight police officers.
24 - Manchester, Illinois: A man angered over a custody dispute killed five of his daughter's mother's family members in their home, then led police on a high-speed chase. He later died in officers' custody.
28 - Ottawa, Kansas: A man allegedly murdered his best friend and a roommate before raping the best friend's girlfriend, then shooting her and her 18-month-old daughter to death. The shooter, who awaits trial, says he "ain't never hurt no man that didn't have it coming."

11 - Waynesville, Indiana: Four people were shot in their rural home. After a search of the home turned up meth, police concluded the killings were drug-related. The following month, a suspect who was already in jail was arrested for the murders.
13 - Fernley, Nevada: A man killed two couples in their homes over Mother's Day weekend, burning their houses. He also slew a newspaper deliveryman and stole his truck.

7 - Santa Monica, California: An emotionally troubled 23-year-old with 1,300 rounds of ammunition killed his father and brother before going on a rampage that killed three more at Santa Monica College. The gunman was killed on campus by police.

26 - Hialeah, Florida: A workout enthusiast under scrutiny for sending abusive emails to an ex-employer killed the husband-and-wife managers of his apartment, then murdered four more neighbors before taking hostages. He was killed by police; the hostages were unharmed.
26 - Clarksburg, West Virginia: A gunman killed two in a suspected drug house, then while fleeing shot and killed a 70-year-old man and his 47-year-old son who were in the neighborhood to deliver the local paper.

7 - Dallas, Texas: A former teacher and football coach killed his girlfriend, estranged wife, and two of their children before police arrested him.
14 - Oklahoma City: A "weird" 40-year-old man killed his mother, sister, niece, and a 7-month-old nephew with a .380 pistol. He currently awaits trial.

11 - Crab Orchard, Tennessee: A man and a woman were arrested for killing four people, ages 16 to 22, in their car during a robbery that followed a botched marijuana deal.
16 - Washington, D.C.: A military contractor who claimed to hear voices murdered 12 ex-coworkers with a sawed-off shotgun at the federal Navy Yard before he was killed by police.
20 - Rice, Texas: A woman killed her husband, their three sons, and herself in their apartment. The husband had been arrested for a domestic violence charge two weeks before.

9 - Paris, Texas: Four people were found dead in a home; it's not yet clear what transpired or who killed them.
26 - Phoenix, Arizona: A man who was allegedly thrown into a rage over the neighbors' two barking dogs killed the animals, then his four neighbors, then himself with a pump-action shotgun.
28 - Terrell, Texas: A man who "appeared to be intoxicated" killed five people, including a convenience store clerk, at four locations before police caught him.
29 - Callison, South Carolina: A man killed his ex-girlfriend, her parents, and two of her children before taking his own life.

7 - Jacksonville, Florida: Two men and their girlfriends were killed in what appeared to be a planned drive-by shooting. The suspects are at large.
23 - Tulsa, Oklahoma: Four people were killed in a suspected meth house. No suspects have been arrested.

1 - Topeka, Kansas: Four people were killed at a house in the town's southwest section. No suspects have been named.
3 - Alma, Arkansas: After arriving home with them, a man killed his daughter's boyfriend in the car, then killed his 4-month-old grandson while he lay in his car seat. He pursued his daughter and four-year-old granddaughter into the backyard, killing the granddaughter before turning the gun on himself.
3 - Erwin, Tennessee: A man with a record of domestic unrest killed his wife, son, and daughter before committing suicide.
8 - Manchester, Connecticut: A man killed his ex-girlfriend and two friends, then fled with the couple's 13-month-old child. When confronted outside by police, he set the child down on the ground and fatally shot himself.
Which was your favorite? Who seemed most justified or righteous?

Happy Holidays to a nation of murderous sheep.

One, Two ... Tap Tap Tap

Let's test this. ("This" meaning the previous item.) Will a nicely cropped shot not centered on the mousehead get the same treatment from our corporate sponsor?
Yes, 2100PST 26 December 2013:

Just Stop!

At YouTube we were told that Google something or another (+, Hangout, Circles WHO FUCKING KNOWS OR CARES!?!!?) had taken it upon itself to do something to this photo we posted. To wit:
O.K., cute, but not the message we were sending.

Not much later: Google + Auto Awesome, we now note. Yes, that's what it says: "Google + Auto Awesome," & we still don't care.

What Santa Brung

Back from Xmas eve whatever, greeted by this:
By all that is unholy (&, therefore, honest) a certain management co. will be a burned-out flooded ruin by the end of the yr., the bodies of the employees having been burned beyond recognition after they were drowned. Except those beaten to death w/ a pipe, preferably the same pipe that broke in the bunker's kitchen ceiling. (Just Another Blog [From L.A.]™ is all about the punishment* fitting the crime. Yet the mgmnt. co. are mere inconsequential street thugs. Wait'll we find the slumlord who gives the orders to the rest of this criminal conspiracy. Can't hide for long, pal.)

If this was human error, like some drunk fuck leaving the sink running, we can only hope the blood that drains from the body of a soon-to-be-former upstairs neighbor(s) doesn't leak down here. Because then we'd really be mad!!!!

(Probably as well we aren't armed [Or are we? Don't be too certain that everything typed here is true, would-be burglars.] considering how low the patience, how high the blood pressure & how incredible & incessant the aggravation we live under.)

*Which is always death. Not unjustly applied mind you. Everyone gets it, for anything! Completely fair.

A Daily Caller Christmas

Christians: Aren't they supposed to turn the other cheek?
We only wanted to go w/ the DC's headline

but the Prince of Peace's loving followers were a distraction.
But what do we care? USA had NOTHING to do w/ it!!
What'll you bet every last one of these drooling blood-thirsty cowards think U.S. drone warfare is the best thing ever after Jesus even as they whine about others getting to kill?

Can't Be Done

We are advised to "avoid Disney." Easier said than done.
Pretty much ruined circles & roundness in general w/ their (We'd call it fascist, but anything w/ a logo is such, so we'll avoid redundancy w/ this subtle reminder.) appropriation of those forms.

UPDATE: (1747PST 25 December 2013): Speaking of corporate appropriation, see what Google hath wrought w/ our image, but not our permission.

Unified Field Theory

If this is a Hitler as Wikipedia attests, doesn't it say all that needs typing about Xianity, kitsch, mass culture, fascism & genocide?
Just to give evil its due, if Hitler liked something (Jesus, his dog, eating) doesn't that invalidate the whole thing? Like, everything Jesus had to say, as well as being a dog person? (As for eating, just fucking stop already!! How are we to have a sustainable world if you keep consuming it?) Not to mention today's crop of religio-reactionaries & their devaluing of the message of your savior. Said message must have been bullshit to begin w/, 'cause it sure does lend itself to anything.

How 'Bout
"Shithole Of Honkies?"

From the Northwest, via PuffHo:
The Cardinals beat the Seattle Seahawks in a 17-10 win Sunday afternoon, ending their opponents' 14-game home-field winning streak. Shortly following the game, Washington state Rep. Joe Fitzgibbon (D-Burien) took to Twitter to trash talk the victors.

"Losing a football game sucks," Fitzgibbon wrote, according to the Associated Press' Mike Baker. "Losing to a desert racist wasteland sucks a lot."
Look, we have no current idea, & it couldn't have remained unchanged, but 45+ yrs. ago Burien was not much about which to brag. Although it has elected at least one state senator w/ a sense of humor, which is more than can be said for most of AZ.

NB, mofos: All locations in this world are equally & simultaneously shitty, awful & horrid. (As just one example the Golden State, its southern portion & even Los Angeles, are, believe it or shove it, actually somewhat short of paradise, not that we'd trade w/ anyonemost people.) If your ox is being gored by a few moments of geographic abuse take a chill pill or 50 & if you haven't driven off a pier/the wrong way down a one-way street by the time the pill or pills have worn off we'll have moved on to demonstrating the inanity & ennui of a hellholewe can all hate.

Whole Thing Called Off

Yeah, & you git yer Jeeziz outta our pagan traditions. You're not that fucking righteous, Rastahole.Although you wasted all that time shopping, now that you know the whole mess is off you can start returning all that crap before the other "consumers" start returning their plastic crap.

Or just throw your plastic crap in the fucking ocean where it'll join the Pacific floating garbage pit (Hey, Musical Double-Play!!)because who cares at all about anything any more? Not that you should either, mind you.

Frances Gumm's Solstice Special

Broadcast 50 yrs. ago today.Commenters state it was taped 6 December 1963.

[And sadly, we neglected to schedule it & left it in draft until today, 20 Jan 2014. Whatever.]

Fucking Time Warp Or Somethin'?

When & where in the hell am I? In what Möbius-twisted dimension is it news (or information, even) that Hall & Oates are were & will remain a suckfest of inanity & limp crap? I mean, why now? Has anyone anywhere given over three secs. of thinking to them in the last X yrs.? (O.K., the blonde one's webcast/tee vee show isn't actually causing that many suicides, depending on the artiste featured.) Sez Slate:
the Bird & the Bee, who recorded a full album of Hall & Oates tunes, to Alison Brie, whose Brooklyn band performs “Rich Girl,” because of course
Oh. Youth. I hope that's a meteor bound for Brooklyn.

Will someone now dare claim (or at least make it clear to the ignorant youth before we are subjected to any more tribute* albums) that Loggins & Messina blow chunks as well? Seals & Crofts? England Dan & John Ford Coley? Tom & Jerry?

And what's w/ that duo dynamic? I'm no musical encyclopædia, but Google agrees there's nothing. When two white guys collaborate are each other's "testosterones" cancelled? (Can't think of any "hard" rock/metal duos. Certainly no successful/known ones.)

Yet R&B duos (mixed) work: Peaches & Herb, Mickey & Sylvia. Even R&B dudes: Don & Dewey. Now, I don't want to wax Goldbergian, but the "soft rock, limp dick (at a minimum metrosexual)" conclusion is foregone here.

Soon in Salon: "STAR WARS: Y'All Ever Notice Them Prequels Ain't So Good?" & "Hitler: Even Worse Than You Thought!"

*"Millions for defense but not one damn penny for tribute" albums.

It's The Least Wonderful Time Of The Yr.

So much to despise, so little time.

It is not a wonder in any way shape or form that you fucking sheep mindlessly consume like the mindless fucking sheep you are. We only hope, as we do every yr., that something awfulactually tragic & on a large scale occurs at a temple of commodity fetishism.

That Whirrrrr You Hear ...

... is no doubt caused by this:
A Charles Bukowski-themed bar, appropriately named Barkowski, is set to open this Friday in the obviously dark and dingy streets of Santa Monica.*

Formerly Bar Pico, Barkowski is the brainchild of Richard Miller and John Moritz, who took over the property to turn it into the kind of dive that a lowlife poet would love.

Except, it's not. Judging from the pictures over at Eater, the place doesn't really look like a bar that Bukowski himself would patronize. Where's the acrid smoke? The divey atmosphere? The lusty and downtrodden barflies? The bar looks hip, high-end and pristine, the kind of watering hole that Bukowski would most likely avoid.

Indeed, Miller tells Eater that Barkowski is, "a 60s dive bar with a little class and without the filth." The filth is so important, though!

There are so many things wrong with this place that can be seen almost immediately. Barkowski looks like a bar for bougie people who claim to have read "Ham on Rye" once and go out of their way to tell everyone that it "changed their life." It's the bar equivalent of buying a Misfits shirt at Urban Outfitters. Also, doesn't King Eddy already exist, and didn't Mr. Bukowskiactually patronize that place?

Barkowski will have its grand opening celebration this Friday, December 13, with an ugly Christmas sweater party. Fantastic.
In the realless bull-shit world, The Pink Elephant was allegedly
Photo by M. Bouffant, & don't you forget it!
a favorite liquor store, 'though perhaps because they delivered. (The Elephant is not alky walking distance from 5124 DeLongpre. Let's face it, one's "favorite" liquor store is the closest. Well, the closest that'll give you credit; maybe it was his fave on that basis.
*Santa Monica may not be as inappropriate as you snobs think, per the Weekly:
7. Santa Monica
For a man who was famous for spending time on Skid Row, and who later set up shop in Hollywood on De Longpre, Bukowski spends a lot of time pacing (and insulting) the streets of Santa Monica in this new collection of columns. Perhaps the best nugget comes from a heated speech that he delivers to a bunch of fellow jailed drunks: "Bathing is a disease, catching fish is a disease, calendars are a disease, the city of Santa Monica is a disease, bubblegum is a disease."

In More Notes he spends time taking his daughter to Synanon beach, located near the Casa Del Mar Hotel, named for cultish drug-rehab facility Synanon that was there until 1989.

Pthirus Pubis Finds A Home

What's important to Phil Robertson about colored people, & tells him race relations were just fine under Jim Crow? That the darkies weren't bitching about honkies:
On growing up in pre-civil-rights-era Louisiana
“I never, with my eyes, saw the mistreatment of any black person. Not once. Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I'm with the blacks, because we're white trash. We're going across the field.... They're singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, ‘I tell you what: These doggone white people’—not a word!... Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues.
What in hell were the happy field workers singing? "How Much Is That Doggie In the Window?"

At Breitbart's Corpse John Nolte explains it all by invoking the mystic power of Context. The context mostly being shut up & obey Gawd like we tell you then there won't be any more problems.
Obviously, context is everything when it comes to understanding truth, but context is also kryptonite to an anti-Christian media and left only interested in furthering their own bigoted agenda.

If you look at the full context of what Robertson said, including the quote about loving one another that the media is going out of its way to not report, how can the media claim that Robertson said homosexuals are going to Hell? Or that he singled out homosexuals? Or that he compared homosexuality to bestiality.
We in the Evil Leftist Media do it like this, a process known to initiates as "quotation:"
“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men,” he says.
Got that, Nolte?
If Robertson compared homosexuality to bestiality, he also compared adultery, drunkenness and greed to bestiality -- and no one is arguing that.
What? No one's arguing that Robertson indeed compared them all? Or no one's arguing the comparisons? Maybe no one's arguing it because they don't know what Nolte's arguing.
You can only claim what the left and the media are claiming about Robertson if you are lying, and it is just a fact that through the act of omission (the quote above) and commission, the media are lying.

Phil Robertson is anti-sin, believes we should all love one another, and believes we can all be saved through the grace of Jesus Christ.

Only the media and the left could be offended by that.
Or the two thirds of the world who don't thump Bibles. Or by people who don't think hateful religious boilerplate is made perfectly O.K. by the immediate self-contradiction of the we-should-all-love-one-another religious platitude.

Bonus Science & Logic from the guy single-handedly insuring the survival of crab lice (Pthirus pubis) on the planet:
On why he voted Romney in 2012
“If I'm lost at three o'clock in a major metropolitan area...I ask myself: Where would I rather be trying to walk with my wife and children? One of the guys who's running for president is out of Chicago, Illinois, and the other one is from Salt Lake City, Utah. [Editor's note: Romney is from Boston, not Salt Lake City.] Where would I rather be turned around at three o'clock in the morning? I opted for Salt Lake City. I think it would be safer.”
In a decent society Mr. Robertson would carve his little duck-calls in a sheltered workshop in exchange for room & board. Have they no shame?

Murder, Inc.

Of course police murder is institutional & structural. That's just how the amorphous they want it. Stop pretending otherwise.
... ThinkProgress interviews with former officers, firearms trainers, and academics, reveal that policy and training may be as much to blame as human error.

When You Call The Cops For Help

The Iowa chain of events started when Tyler Comstock got into an argument with his father because he wouldn’t buy him a pack of cigarettes. When Comstock drove away in his father’s truck, his father called the cops to intervene. His father lamented afterward, “It was over a damn pack of cigarettes. … And I lose my son for that.”

Criminal justice professor and former Baltimore police officer Peter Moskos said the family was wrong to call the police. While many think officers play a role in community affairs, Moskos says police view their jobs otherwise. “This idea that cops are always at your beck and call is the basis of the 911 system and it doesn’t work,” Moskos said. “When you call the police, you have to remember what cops do is arrest people. If you don’t want to be arrested, you probably shouldn’t call the police.”

Condescending enough? (It's certainly interminable.)

Class Warfare Time Again

Fuck India & their criminal, labor-exploiting consul.
NEW DELHI — The arrest and alleged strip search of an Indian diplomat in New York City escalated into a major diplomatic furor Tuesday as India’s national security adviser called the woman’s treatment “despicable and barbaric.”
Keep it up, hypocrites. How safe did you say riding your buses is?
Devyani Khobragade, India’s deputy consul general in New York, is accused of submitting false documents to obtain a work visa for her Manhattan housekeeper. Indian officials said she was arrested and handcuffed Thursday as she dropped off her daughter at school, and was kept in a cell with drug addicts before posting $250,000 bail.

A senior Indian official confirmed reports that she also was strip-searched, which has been portrayed in India as the most offensive and troubling part of the arrest. The official spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the case.

Her U.S. attorney said he didn’t know if she was strip-searched. Federal authorities said they were looking into the arrest.
Fuck you & your caste system & your hypocrisies. Being strip-searched is not not not the same as being gang-raped & murdered on a city bus.

For the five zillionth time (& stop making me repeat myself) I remind every one of you, world-wide: There is no greater sin than hypocrisy, & no evil deserves a more terrible punishment. (Santa's making a list of the two-faced, & you don't want him dropping a "lump of coal" down your chimney from 30,000 ft.)

As one example, I despise crap like this (in part because it makes these United Snakes look good):
That reaction may look outsized in the United States, but the case touches on a string of issues that strike deeply in India, where the fear of public humiliation resonates strongly and heavy-handed treatment by the police is normally reserved for the poor. For an educated, middle-class woman to face public arrest and a strip search is almost unimaginable, except in the most brutal crimes.
How then is it that a woman being gang-raped/murdered in the back of a bus is not in any way "humiliating?" Let's put them & their monkey-gawd caste system out of their fucking misery so we needn't hear crap like this ever again.

Ha! Only kidding, sort of (Hard to tell when typing on an empty stomach. Will all this rage & anguish disappear after a bowl of cereal?) didn't really mean it until the Indian fascists essentially invited an attack on the U.S. Embassy & directly threatened American citizens in India.
Police also removed the traffic barricades near the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, a demand by the Indian government in retaliation for Khobragade’s treatment, PTI reported. The barriers were a safety measure.

“We got orders to remove the concrete barriers,” said Amardeep Sehgal, station house officer of the Chanakyapuri police station, the one nearest the embassy. “They were obstructing traffic on the road.” He refused to say who had given the orders.

Calls to the U.S. Embassy were not immediately returned Tuesday.

Yashwant Sinha, an opposition Bharatiya Janata Party member and former Indian finance minister, suggested arresting the same-sex partners of U.S. diplomats, after India’s Supreme Court last week upheld a law outlawing gay sex.

“The media has reported that we have issued visas to a number of U.S. diplomats’ companions. ‘Companions’ means that they are of the same sex,” Sinha told NDTV on Tuesday. “It is completely illegal in our country. Just as paying less wages was illegal in the U.S.* So, why doesn’t the government of India go ahead and arrest all of them? Put them behind bars, prosecute them in this country and punish them.”
It would be too much to expect the U.S. of A. to get into a shooting war over gay diplomats' partners/companions, but we can hope for progress. (It's hardly as if this nation's m.o. since Reagan hasn't been to use any pathetic excuse to start hostilities as compensation for Republican incompetence, from the Beirut Marine Barracks bombing to 11 September 2001.)

Read this, then try to suppress your desire to slap some sense into privileged Indian scum mouthing the same exhausted family values & exceptionalistic bullshit we hear from America's hypocritical cheapskates.
Standard security checks in the U.S. regularly are front-page news here when they involve visiting Indian dignitaries, who are largely exempt from friskings while at home.

India’s former speaker of Parliament, Somnath Chatterjee, once refused to attend an international meeting in Australia when he wasn’t given a guarantee that he would not have to pass through security. Chatterjee said even the possibility of a security screening was “an affront to India.”

The treatment and pay of household staff, meanwhile, is largely seen as a family issue, off-limits to the law.

*These priorities make it objectively clear that the U.S. actually is superior to at least one other nation on this planet of fear & pain, no matter how it pains me to admit it.

Red Hill Real Estate Report

Former home of Echo Park leftist sells
for more than $1 million

SoCal real estate photography: Always show the garage.
I thought, gosh, ironic, & was going to make a bigger deal of what a swell guy this commie labor organizer must have been when I realized the entire implication of former bodyguard to Leon Trotsky.
Buchman, a socialist who was investigated by the FBI when he tried to unionize fellow aerospace workers in the 1950s, and his wife, Debbie, built the mid-century home on Park Drive after they settled in the Elysian Heights section of Echo Park, which had been dubbed “Red Hill” because so many socialists, communists and leftists had settled there during the 1930s and 1940s.

Big Fucking Deal Report

That The New York Times believes this to be a big deal, or even meaningful, says what needs to be said about said organization.
BREAKING NEWSMonday, December 16, 2013 3:32 PM EST
Judge Rules Against N.S.A. Bulk Collection of Phone Data
A federal district court judge ruled on Monday that the National Security Agency program that is systematically keeping records of all Americans’ phone calls most likely violates the Constitution, and he ordered the government to stop collecting data on two plaintiffs’ personal calls and destroy the records of their calling history.

Newser please. Live in the real world for thirty seconds; nothing short of life imprisonment for all involved & complete destruction of all the hardware might stop it for a while; a piece of paper from an activist judge not worth the match it takes to light it stops nothing. How many divisions does that judge have?

And now that we've read it (The alert, not the entire item. Are you fucking kidding?) the phrase "most likely violates the Constitution" leaps at us. That's a hell of a finding. Is that legal? Or even a decision?

Central African Republic Report

Religious civil war in the C.A.R.? Good. Let the Christians & Mohammedans genocide each other to extinction*. Live by the cross, die by the crescent, or vice versa.
*Also deserving of extinction? All citizens/subjects of the Euro empires that drew the maps for genocide. NO ONE IS INNOCENT! ALL MUST BE PUNISHED!!

"Good Night Mr. Wellman"

New Holiday Tradition?

Arapahoe, Colorado Friday the 13th —
Is it bad luck that makes Colorado practically the go-to state for high school & theater shootings? (Whole state an "Indian" graveyard?)

On telebision we see every student evacuated from the high school in question being treated like the thugs American society is busily making them, as they are forced to keep their hands in the air (They'd better care!) & then frisked before being herded into pens or onto the track or whatever. Now a picture of the Sheriff's Dep't. tankarmored car.

And a day short of the one-yr. anniv. of the mass murder at Sandy Hook in Connecticut. Are these United Snakes going to have a school shooting every yr. about a wk. before Xmas? Happy Holidays!!
How much do they "Love the Out-of-Doors?"
So damn much they want to murder it all, by bullet,
by arrow or by fishhook.
More Xmas gun adverts at Retronaut.

How Many Times?

I've been telling you idiots for virtually all my sad existence (sad because I was born w/o anyone asking me into a world where I'm surrounded by cretinous zombies) that marriage is bullshit & the family is a corrupt bourgeois institution. Here's further proof, but you fucking losers never get my advice, do you? Well, you get what you deserve, even if your bosses don't.
Jurors also heard from Johnson's mother, whose testimony supported the idea, put forth by friends and family members, that Johnson was much more in love with Graham than vice versa.

"I always wanted to be a grandma*," Sherry Johnson said through tears. "And he was excited about that, too."

Brad Blasdel, a close friend, testified that Johnson was "infatuated" with Jordan. But "it seemed one-sided," he said.

And another friend, Cameron Fredrickson, testified that he never thought the marriage would work out.

When Johnson went missing, "I actually broke into their house ... because this whole story is not like Cody," Fredrickson said. "It made me feel like Jordan had something to do with Cody missing."

Fredrickson said he was looking for evidence to incriminate Graham, looking bloody rags, weapons or a body. He didn't find anything, he said.
We'd advise all of you married morons to start thinking out of the proverbial box, but that would imply at least some of you brain-dead sheep were somewhere inside a box thinking, when I know damn well all you fuckers are doing is moving your lips while you turn the pages. (I've never been married, & look how happy AND ALIVE I am!)

Meanwhile the Chandlerian spousal unit is in the next room thumbing the side of a blade & thinking of your pasty white frog belly-colored neck & the beautiful contrast it would make w/ some red red blood.
*Now there's some ambition. You know who else is hung up on reproducing? Cockroaches & rabbits, that's who! Don't set your sights too high, would-be granny, just keep laying those eggs!
