Six Months Closer to the End

Today being 1 July (2008) we can safely announce that we've survived another six months (Who'd a thunk it?) And a mere four months 'til the fookin' election is over & done w/, & we'll know which direction we ("as a nation") will be taking in the inevitable march to entropy.
