Life In These United States

The way we live now.

Per Nerdy Peoples Radio.
AT&T mobile use.
Where your money ($1.00 bills) goes.
(No idea where Hawai'i & Alaska move their dollar bills or where in the lower 48 their calls go.)

Another map of who says what & where in English across this great land & even greater Canada.
We're always interested in how & where these United States are divided & what divides them but have no insights beyond noting how sadly 20th century this one is w/ its meaningful state borders.

I think the Russian Professor is broadly correct, except for his expectation of international influence. Americans are far too provincial, not to mention bloodthirsty, to accept foreign intervention. Asia's too far away to have much influence on the ground, and Americans would happily kill all the Mexicans or Candians necessary to protect their "independence".

The interesting thing is that the nation formed in the northeast will be a banking/commerce center, the west will have technology and tourism, the north will be a major agricultural provider to the rest, but the south will once again be uncompetitive, unproductive and unable to support themselves without re-instituting slavery, something they will likely do under some euphemistic name like "Welfare"...
