You'd think someone who prattled so about liberty would have let her hair free once in a while. Our guess? Non-stop application of hairspray ate large chunks of brain. |
And never forget the Iron Witch's son. At least Reagan's spawn haven't done anything beyond gum-flapping."When you've spent half your political life dealing with humdrum issues like the environment, it's exciting to have a real crisis on your hands." - 1982, commenting on the Falkland Islands war.
"I was asked whether I was trying to restore Victorian values. I said straight out I was. And I am." - 1983, speech to British Jewish Community.
"We had to fight the enemy without in the Falklands. We always have to be aware of the enemy within, which is much more difficult to fight and more dangerous to liberty." - On the 1984-85 miners' strike which provoked some of the fiercest union opposition to her economic policies.
"There is no such thing as society. There are individual men and women and there are families."- 1987, magazine interview.

Slap on the wrist for trying to start a war. Sweet.
Actually, Reagan's son Ron has done much to counteract his dad, in my opinion.
And as for Maggie? Tramp the dirt down.
Shoveling It Editor:
Not denying Ron, just being non-specific; they're all talkers & haven't tried to foment revolution anywhere. (At least we're pretty sure Ron hasn't.) So why mention who's on which side?
Although we did mull it over for exactly your reason.
