Lazy as we are, we nonetheless do not appreciate certain magazine & newspaper websites adding a link when we only want the text. And it's especially unappreciated when done as cheesily as we've high-lighted above.

We do appreciate every disease humans can acquire. Do your best, bugs.

Simple TB is simple to treat — as cheap as a $10 course of medication for six to nine months. But if treatment is stopped short, the bacteria fight back and mutate into a tougher strain. It can cost $100,000 a year or more to cure drug-resistant TB, which is described as multi-drug-resistant (MDR), extensively drug-resistant (XDR) and XXDR.

One good thing is that it will be awesome to see insurance companies die a lingering death either through treating this stuff or not treating it.

Don't get what you mean about your link complaints though.

What we mean is, we copied only the first line above ("this country ... tuberculosis") but when we pasted, "Read more:" & the link were added (Appeared from nowhere!) free of charge or desire. Same thing occurs at the NY Daily News site. (Here, we'll blockquote the whole mess, & highlight the offending passage, for clarification purposes.)

Obviously we should be liberating material from better sources.

Go mutant bacteria!

Ah. You may want to search Firefox addons for copy-paste improvers, or use NoScript (which can really be a pain in the ass but prevents stupid fucking javascripts from fucking up what you can normally do).

Gee willikers, just let us bitch. Constructive suggestions will get you nowhere.

Maybe we'll try Firefox on one of the offending sites. Mostly irked that it's just so, y'know, inelegant. But not (Damnit!) the end of even our own little universe.
