According to the map, the heart of Dodgers fandom isn't near the stadium so much as the Eastside—the true Eastside and Doyers territory. It continues down along the 710 corridor until about the 91 freeway, where Angels fandom starts picking up steam. The crossover line seems to more or less correlate with the Orange Curtain. Some other pockets of Dodger love are in the North Valley, Gardena, Carson, Baldwin Park and the middle swatch of South Los Angeles. The most tepid Dodger fandom in the county is on the Westside, from the Pacific Palisades to Marina Del Rey. Maybe that's where there's a concentration of transplants with their own previous allegiances? Not to mention the image. How is that fair?

ESPN blows it again:310 my ass, you ignorant Easterners, it's filled w/ monied Pacific-proximate fair-weather Laker fans. Actual Dodger fans are more likely to be found inland, in O.G. Area Code 213 as well as 323, 626 & even 562.

I KNOW. I always thought it should be 213, and yeah, I GET that 415 is SF, but the fans come from 650, 408, 510 and 707.
But they know shit in 203...
