Man and woman hospitalized after shooting between boat and jet skis on St. Johns River, deputies say
ASTOR, Fla. — A man and a woman were shot after an altercation between people on a boat and jet skis on the St. Johns River on Saturday, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.The shooting occurred around 4:35 p.m. in the area of the Midway Marina.

The two people who were shot in the incident were airlifted to a hospital for treatment with life-threating [sic] injuries, deputies said.
Deputies said three people are in custody, including one person who was taken to a hospital for medical issues.
The shooting is currently under investigation and no other details were released.

There's at least one car-to-car shooting a wk. in sunny Southern California, & I'm probably being generous. Florida, however, puts a new twist on that sort of thing.
