In the only part of the planet that truly concerns this reporter August is half gone & there's yet to be a serious heatwave, let alone fires that establish their own weather patterns. (Get to it, pyros.) Currently either 76°F/25°C (per Microsoft on the devil-box) or 79°F (per Google on the 'phone).
Guess we're waiting for the other (southern) shoe to drop now.
