Grand Central Pants Station

Also gone: El Taco, where zombie crackheads used to hang. And Dante's Inferno. The St. Francis is still there, but we're afraid the Sultan Room is long gone as well.

Also El Indio, which used to sell all-meat carne asada burritos for $3.25 as late as the early 2000's.

Conflation Editor:
What's the deal there? Did El Indio replace El Taco? We were thinking it was El Taco Indio, but the sign didn't reflect that. Don't remember Sex-o-Ram either.

Quite a block. Two smut shops & three, four or five bars. Not to mention the waterbed store. A simpler time, yada.

P.S. Editor:
Remember when we all were in the Pioneer Chicken just up Western next to the hotel/Pants Station w/ English Frank (R.i.P.) & he poured a pint of really crummy (Scoresby?) scotch in a styrofoam cup & glugged it straight down?

Rock rock rock & roll!!!
