Seriously, heard that from a guy in Aloha (Oregon) 'bout twenty years ago when I first started talking to (ahem, "normal") people about rising sea levels. Tea-bagger type, his solution to nuisance tides was make the bay deeper. Was so proud of it he called it in to the Lars Larson show.
