Drum Rôle

Literally exactly a mo. ago a yada fest at LG&M includeddevolved into discussion of the snare drum:
"(For example, I can now ID several drummers by their snare style.)"
the response (had I been there, or been awake, or even alive) to which is "Snare? Every band I've ever been in (all 1.5-ish) the first damn thing you have to tell the drummer is 'Less snare, more tom.'"
