G-Ziz Sumbitch Krise, how long does it take for YouTube to download 15-fucking-mins. of video we managed to transfer from DVD to hard drive in approx. five mins.?
Is this a problem w/ the cable co.'s Infernal-Net access? Or is YouTube just a (technical) suckfest? Tried the direct route from devil-box to Blogger/Google, but Google was all "server failure."
We have our doubts about the rest of the world, but our time is fucking precious, & att'ys. are looking into the matter at this moment. If it sounds unlikely that shysters would be doing that of a Sat. night, an operation like this needs legal eagles on retainer 24/7.

You have to compress that video something fierce as upload speeds ordinarily such in comparison to downloads. But doing that takes time too.
You are, by the way, uploading.
Knew His Analog Shit, Once, Editor Mumbles:
We were so pig-biting mad (or semi-irritated, &, as always, ready to whine) that we forgot what exactly the hell we were doing, though it's not as if we have much of an idea if we're headed up, down or sideways most of the time.
Had to use (No laffing, now!) Widows Movie Maker to trim the last of the three Hallowe'en things we posted, & the last update we got from Gates' minions seems to have improved WMM somewhat: Once we made it a .wmv, YT uploaded it almost immediately, though it still took a while for YT to process, which is fair enough.
Any suggestions you may have for free programs that might help will be cheerfully accepted.
Feel free not to waste bandwidth here, & use Google's email bandwidth if you have any suggestions.
Merci! either way.
Also "ordinarily suck".
If you're using a Windows box I don't have any ideas that aren't Mac-related.
If you are a Bad Person you could download Quicktime and unlock it.
You may have to hunt down components, but Quicktime plays and converts a lot of video types.
A lot of the better converters for the Mac use FFMPEG as their basis. Here's something that's free and looks relatively friendly.
