"The attack on Air Marshal Shiri appears to be a build-up of terror attacks targeting high profile persons, government officials, government establishments and public transportation systems," Mohadi was quoted as saying.
Outlook? Grim.
Prospects for rescuing Zimbabwe appear slim while Mugabe and Tsvangirai remain deadlocked over their September 15 power-sharing deal analysts say is the best chance for easing Zimbabwe's economic crisis, marked by severe shortages of basic goods and the world's highest inflation rate, above 231 million percent. An agreement signed by Mugabe and Tsvangirai has so far failed to materialize due to a dispute over key ministries and constitutional changes creating the prime minister's post for Tsvangirai have yet to be passed.
Today marks three months & a day since the power-sharing deal.
