Food Truck Our Ass, It's Still A Roach Coach!

We find ourself in the block under discussion at least once a month (our commie-socialist credit union is there) but you can bet your last organic, free-range ostrich drumstick that we've never set foot in such food-for-weaklings spots as Koo Koo Roo, Organic to Go or Toshi's Fresh Asian, now all history.

The people above are in front of the building named Variety, seen here.
Sadly, as are seldom awake before most squares have already finished their lunches (What's the fucking rush? Stop & smell the flowers, sheep.) we've never arrived in time to enjoy the possibilities of eleven trucks at once. Only one, which has been serving for late lunchers for yrs., long before the advent of trendy fucking food trucks. What can not be appropriated & upscaled?

Ahem. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that I see M.B. posting at 6 and 7 A.M. EST.

Are these some sort of H.P. Lovecraft flowers that are being sniffed?

No sniffing, other than at real Americans. High on our own natural juices (& coffee) plus life itself. Especially life that allows one to follow one's bio-riddims, not Hitler's Clock.

How did you know I have a Hitler's Clock?!!? Have you been spying on me?????????

(It goes off at 7 A.M. everyday, but sometimes there is serious snoozing alarm going on. Is hitting the snooze button like appeasing Hitler, or the opposite?)

Hey is that "Variety" building the former Cal Fed building on Wilshire between La Brea and Fairfax, you know, the only reeeeeeally tall building in that stretch of WilshireP.

Signage Update Editor Reveals:

Naw, it's the former Mutual Benefit Life Bldg. on Wilshire, two blks. east of Fairfax.

The once-Cal Fed Bldg. is now occupied by E! & CBS Radio, two blks. farther east at Masselin.

Sleep Editor Sez:

Unless one smashes that Clock w/ a hammer (& probably one's boss as well) one is an appeaser.
