At equinox, the dividing line between the sunlit half of Earth and the nighttime half of Earth temporarily passes through Earth's north and south spin poles. This dividing line is shown in clear detail in the featured video, taken by the Russian meteorological satellite Elektro-L during last year's September equinox.

Man, those old Electrolux vacuums were built to last. My family had one and it lasted 40 years or something. I think even after it "died" it could have been repaired, but by that time the newer quieter ones were just too appealing for the fam to bother.

My friend & former housemate had a family heirloom like the one pictured which worked until the early '90s.
The Bouffant family had a newer model (w/ wheels instead of runners -- Loooxury!!) that lasted for yrs. & yrs.
