Not much help: L.A.'s approx. 56% unlisted.

(The local books would be too heavy if everyone were in them.)

Statewide it's 40% unlisted.

I'm payin' two bucks a month to be unlisted, but I still get a gazillion unwanted calls.

You think that's bad, our land-line was cut off mos. ago (has gone to collection, even) yet there's still a dial tone (don't think we can really make outgoing calls, except maybe to 911) & we still get calls from robots about non-existent credit card accounts!

S'pose we could unplug the actual instrument ...

Be it landline or cellphones, telemarketers just keep on calling. Most annoying thing in the world.

Have never gotten a telemarketer on our mobile. Interesting wrong numbers & wrong-number texts (w/ pictures, yet) 'though.

Lotta those telemarketers just call every number in order, listed or not.
