NEWS FLASH:
George F. Will Is A Disingenuous
(That Means "Lies Like A Rug") Idiot

In case you hadn't figured it out. Also an idiot: Michele Bachmann, the subject of Mr. Will's story.

Just one example; we have something resembling a life the rest of the day.
For example, appearing on MSNBC's "Hardball" 18 days before last year's election, she made the mistake of taking Chris Matthews's bait and speculating about whether Barack Obama and some other Democrats have "anti-American" views.
Watch this & see who's "taking the bait." Bachmann can't shut up about "anti-Americanism."Her excuse:
Born in Iowa but a Minnesotan by age 12, Bachmann acquired what she calls "her family's Hubert Humphrey knee-jerk liberalism."
Ah, "Hubert Humphrey knee-jerk liberalism" bad, "Joseph McCarthy knee-jerk fascism" good. Now we know.

In the ensuing uproar -- fueled by people who were not comparably scandalized when George W. Bush was sulfurously vilified -- her opponent raised nearly $2 million and her lead shrank from 13 points to her winning margin of three.

Silly ass Will and the rest of the gasbags forget that it wasn't until 2006 that MSNBC first began running Keith Olberman's special comments...long after G.W. Bush, elected by 5 of 9 Supreme Court Justices, had lied us into 2 foreign quagmires, more than doubled the national debt, presided over the biggest asset bubble in history, and let the city of New Orleans drown.

Equivalence FAIL.

And the WaPoop sux, but you knew that. Also, I made fun of Peggington Noonington, and sent you an email.

Whoa, take it easy there, Mr. Busy. Stop & smell the flowers, perhaps while gripping a coffee cup & having an interior monologue about how the morning is your time, or something ...

Will wrote an obit on Allen Ginsberg that was vitriolic in the extreme. In it, Will put down the Beats as having contributed nothing of value to American society. What is painfully obvious is that people will be reading poems like "Howl" in the 23rd century, whereas Will will be forgotten. Back in Spiro Agnew's day, Will would be called "a pointy-headed [pseudo]intellectual."

Very Beat Editor:
Why would he even have bothered obiting & abusing Ginsburg? Beside the obvious "jerk" conclusion, that is?
