John Graham Mellor, b. 21 August 1952,d. 22 December 2002. Hard to believe he's
only 13 mos. older than The Editor of this "web log." Harder to believe he's been dead almost five yrs., & only lived 50. On the right,

Wow, somebody who was actually older than me! Actually, my grandmother always thought that my birthday was the 21st, as my mother had a "false alarm" on that day. So the date stuck in my grandmother's head forever.
