Did Paul Skip Iowa Appearance for Celebrity Event?

An Iowa evangelical Christian leader stood on stage and told the 1,200 conservatives on Saturday that Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) had told him he couldn't be at the event because of a "family commitment," the Des Moines Register reports.

However, the New York Post reports that Paul was in the Hamptons on Saturday "among the intellectual elite" at a library fundraiser hosted by Alex Baldwin.

That little fucker seems pathologically unable to tell the truth, doesn't he? Plagiarism, flip-flopping, Civil Rights Act, it changes daily. Joan Walsh piles on.

Guessing his predilection for bullshit started w/ the forward comb-over or rug he has going. What is the deal on the side there? Does Mrs. Paul cut it w/ pinking shears & a bowl? Or is fitting a toupee well another lost art?
