Alas, it & its Stop Obama stickers were on too public a street for any political action. |
Bonus Quote of the Day
"Well, I've taken a look at both sides of the thing. And it seems to me that evolution takes a tremendous amount of faith. To have all of a sudden all of the different things that have to be lined up, to create something as sophisticated as life, it takes a lot of faith. I don't see it as even as a matter of science, because I don't know if you can prove one or the other."
-- Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO), from a recording obtained by Think Progress at a Tea Party meeting this week.

OK, Todd, you helpless idiot, let's make one thing perfectly clear.
Abiogenesis is NOT the same thing as evolution, and no, we don't have a clear idea of how abiogenesis works, but c'mon, your story is way more stupid than anything we can come up with using the science we know.
Beyond that, evolution is a perfect self-supporting scientific theory, and rather than standing their with your fucking comic book trying to argue against it you should take the same approach as the Catholic church and say hey, man, that's how god intended it to work.
'Cause you sound like an idiot with a pocket full of Shari'a law and a bad sense of what science can know without equivocation...
But a magical Sky Cat waving his wand and making life appear - totally believable.
What a dumbshit.
My one word answer for idiots, uh, people who don't believe in evolution is "Australia"*.
*And when they still don't get it I follow up with, "How the fuck did all of the truly unique species that exist only on the Australian continent get there without evolving?"
What kind of doofus puts a bumper sticker on the FRONT of their car?
One that's stupid enough to disbelieve science, I guess. Their car must run on wishes and pixie dust.
But a magical Sky Cat waving his wand and making life appear
I dunno, Auntie, cats are pretty awesome.
Cat-People Editor:
The other front bumper sticker said "Stop The Obama Express."
One of the back two was "Nobama," we think.
