Coming soon.
New modem. iNternet speed testing suggests it's faster than last time I checked download speed; no noted or appreciable difference in uploading, including pointlessly large photo files. Did seem to open Bugger™ "Preview" a bit more quickly.

It ain't the modem M. (internutz speeds are more likely controlled by your ISP than by your hardware).
Rest of The Story Editor:
Welp, ISP TWCable made a big deal of sending me the new one, claiming I'll need it to take advantage of (soon-to-be) new improved speeds.
Last time I checked (w/ the five-yr. old modem) it was about 16/2Mbps, now it's 22/2-ish, so something's better. TWC claims I should be getting 20/2 already & will get 100/10 whenever they get around to upgrading the 'hood. (Wish in one hand, crap in the other ...)
I Could be Wrong Correspondent:
Yeah, if it's that much of an upgrade it could be a hardware thing...
There's No Telling Ed.:
Who can say? What is truth?
Should've tested just before I dumped the old one, the last test I ran was a while ago.
And considering TWC couldn't "roll out" their same-channels-but-now-grouped-for-"your"-convenience new line-up until several months after the originally announced date I'm not holding my breath on lightning speed.
This is a test. This is only a test.
Had this been an actual comment I would have said something snarky.
Nervous Editor:
I'm scared to look.
If it's too much let me know and I'll tone it down (or I expect The Great Gazoogle will come along and take it down) but that is one of the best pictures ever taken of me*.
*From long, long ago (1999). Me pretending to do Tai Chi at the elusive West Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Tone It Up! Editor:
Hey, if you have nekkid pix of yourself, who am I to stop you?
Google+ tells me: "Weird hasn't shared anything with you."
