I lived in NZ for two and a half years. Sheep jokes are a dime a dozen. If you really want to get a taste of the Kiwi mindset, there is a satirical blog called Kiwianarama which is modelled after the “Stuff White People Like” blog. (Lots of parallels to the Canadian mentality. Esp. this one and this one.)We should have known. Damn Churchillian "English-Speaking Peoples."
