Do you SoCal folk have parties or traditions or something you do for special occasions like this?
SoCal Stupid Editor:We like to go swimming w/ our dogs as soon as the waterways fill.
Additional Editor:Not to mention "STORMWATCH!" hysteria on the telly. Always fun to watch. Bear in mind my formative yrs. were spent in NorCal & Seattle, so I know from rain.
I guess watching mudslides try to destroy tackily-decorated rich-people's houses could be a tradition too, as long as you watch from a safe distance.
