Not So Lazy After All

Turns out no <span> allowed in the blog description. Must've tried it before (& so long ago I'd forgotten) or how would I have known bolding & italics do work? What-fuggin'-ever, less is more.

Well, that's just not cool. There must be a way! I won't rest until I find it!

OK, actually, I'm just gonna take a quick look at the stylesheet and then give up if it isn't easy.

Yep, from what I can see, no matter what you do, it just doesn't change shit.

I'm sure I could override it by going directly into the template's XML and CSS, but: lazy.

I guess I'm not as lazy as I thought. You can add style stuff inside the template by editing the HTML (go to "Template" then "Edit HTML"). Find the "Header" section, and inside there you'll see something like this:

<b:includable id='description'>
<div class='descriptionwrapper'>
<p class='description'>
<span>
<data:description/>
</span>

Just add a "style='blah'" element to the existing <span> tag and you should be set.

So, neither of us as lazy as he'd like to be.

I know just enough about HTML to be dangerous, not necessarily successful. Eliminating the white border around images took more scrolling & reading in the template than I'm ready for. And having messed w/ the template in plenty other ways (all in the direction of simple & clear) I'm thinking of reverting to the simplest one possible anyway. Then I may fool w/ it.

I guess I'm not as lazy as I thought. My guess is you'd rather do silly stuff than what you're being paid for, & who wouldn't?
