This big dog crossed the (Ferndell to the Observatory, for local yokels into specificity) trail we were on about 20-30 ft. (that's several metres,
ausländern) in front of us & wandered up a hill. We assumed he or she was lost, & tried to follow so we could read the tag on its collar, but we couldn't get any closer than these mostly unfocused images.
To think that a few mins. previous I was disappointed at not seeing deer at A.F.I.

Are you sure there was a collar on that ki-yote?
I like the action (middle) one.

Imagine me trailing Coyote up a fairly steep hill (trail inadequate for humanoids) w/ a messenger bag containing my laptop, its AC supply, a jug o' water, yada over my shoulder, while trying to get Rover (who's a good 30 yds. ahead of me all the way, & stopping every so often to look back at me & go "Neener neener") into a shot. I'm surprised any were recognizable, let alone focused.
Where I live, so many people have fenced their yards that the coyotes don't have many trails to go up and down the mountain. One trail is through our driveway, since our yard isn't fenced. Each morning when Jack (the dog) and I go out, we glimpse one of these guys. Jack still thinks he wants to play with them.
