A B-52 Stratofortress provides a flyby down Hollywood Boulevard on Nov. 14 and over the Hollywood and Highland Plaza in Los Angeles for the opening ceremonies of Air Force Week-Los Angeles. The ceremonies included performances by the Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team and the Air Force Band of the Golden West with flyovers by several different Air Force aircraft and interactive expos. Air Force Week-Los Angeles is Nov. 14 to 21 and has events throughout the area. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Bennie J. Davis III)Man. A shot like that (Gargantuan version here.) just makes us wish there were a few hundred carpet bombs dropping from that B-52, right on the Cathedral of Commodity Fetishism at Hollywood & Highland.

The USAF looks to be making a big propaganda move in the Southland this wk. If you wanted to examine your tax dollars at work, you've probably already missed "Wings Over Long Beach." Check here for more stuff. Then go out & drop some bombs on innocent civilians from thousands of ft. away. What a vicious people we are.Above:
