Blackest Friday

Apparently the word that the economy is in the pits & that consumption is over & done w/ has not yet reached the lower-middle-class AmeriKKKan, as evidenced by the mess at a Wal*Mart store in Valley Stream, Long Island, where the stampede of shoppers allegedly took the doors of the store off their hinges. (Don't really appear to be "hinges" on the doors pictured. And they seem to be attached to their frames.)And, the unthinking mob trampled a security guard to death in their lust to enter the temple of commodity fetishism. Sadly for the would-be shoppers, they were forced to leave the store w/o purchases.
This is tragedy & beyond further comment, but a commenter in the Daily News does have a special, Christmassy, message:

Da Bruthas n' Sistas gone wild. See, if B.Hussein hadn't won the election, this would not have happened. The celebration is over, get over it, get a better job, work longer hours, stop being lazy, and shop on an off day. Pay a couple of bucks extra you wanton welfare creatures, and stop living off of treats-treats-treats!
Truly, this is a great nation! "Get a better job, work longer hours..." is sound advice in an economy shedding jobs like any baldness metaphor insultingly applied to a Republican. It's all up to you, brothers & sisters! Make the choice to work hard & the world is your oyster.
