As a former resident of Walla Walla, Wash., 99362, we know how nice Eastern Washington is, though we are a bit amazed there is some sort of winery activity in the region now. The only wine in Wash. during our first sojourn there ('64-'69) was some incredibly sweet crap called Alhambra Loganberry we used to get from winos (or merely sympathetic types) we'd pay to get the sweet stuff for us from a tavern.
