St. Nick on an apocalyptic stick. Our last serious earthquake was over fifteen yrs. ago; the clock ticks. Looking on the bright side, the post-quake floods may douse the natural gas fires, creating a vast & vacant plain of muddied ash blah blah, skeletons of bldgs., blah, few survivors wandering aimlessly, yada, shards of half-burned plastic like blah blah vultures or something blah fresh (or rotting gray, blah, ash-covered) corpse yada yada, you get it, right?

Consult the Google™ or something if you care enough to find more (we know the big break/flood last wk., & surely the fire engine nose down in the giant pothole a few days back must have drawn more than local attention, for unfortunates outside our ninth circle here) but it would appear that there's been a water main break w/ flooding every day (maybe every other day, what-the-fucking-ever) for the last wk. or so in the City of the Honky-Tonk Angels, the latest coming this morning.
