We're Generally Non-Violent, But We'll Make An Exception Here

"Twinkles" Lowry of NRO thinks (There's that word again.) Ledeen went overboard. No history of that from Ledeen, of course. We've extracted the purest starburst stupidity just for you, the discerning consumer:
It's just that [President Obama] thinks the policies we'd want to see him adopt vis-a-vis those countries are flatly mistaken, short-sighted, not worth the cost, or all three.

There's no doubt that Obama has an allergy to American power and a hostility to American exceptionalism, but, alas, these tendencies themselves are firmly within the American tradition. 
The rational mind boggles.
