Now M, recall that g'ma taught us to look for silver linings in dark clouds. The cranes in that photo tells me (who having last hitch-hiked out of LA fifty-odd years ago and still don't miss it) that LA has run out of room to sprawl and is finally building up
Too bad about all that farmland, but except for that bit that still flooded, there's no water for it ...
