Space colonization by humans is just so much capitalist bullshit. Humans are never going to colonized any other planet because we cannot separate ourselves from our mother planet. We can explore space with space robots but the only way humans can go into space it by encasing ourselves in earth's biosphere (a spacesuit). We can send humans to the Moon or Mars and they can stay there a few days but after their oxygen runs out, they are dead. Humanity cannot save itself by running away from earth. We have to figure out how to save ourselves on this beautiful blue planet otherwise humanity is doomed.
Fascinating, no Dr Smith. And here we all are, still in the same place, still a generation lost in space, still with no time left to start again. After all these years.
