Wonkette has
a bunch of text on the matter, but WEB OF EVIL has the video. Do you wanna wrap your lips around each syllable, or just lie back & watch?
Is video star Pastor Heath an idiot, a moron, a cretin, a doofus or an imbecile?
And has everyone out there removed any & all facial hair? Because it's loooong overdue.

Knew there was a reason I didn't like Bass Pro Shops.
I'm going with moron.
"“I despise the term ‘assault rifle,’” Mooneyham said. “Whoever coined that phrase has to be misinformed."
Well if you were assaulting something what rifle would you like to have?
How the fuck can he have Modest Mouse playing in the background...
Do these idiots ever look up the band they hear and know what their about, let alone the song in the background.
Let lead singer Issac brock school him:
As a young boy he was raised in a Christian religious sect called the Grace Gospel church, an affiliate with the Branch Davidians. He told an interviwer from the Guardian newspaper that he was asked to speak in tongues when he was six: "I didn't feel the spirit of the fucking Lord rushing through me," he says. "I definitely felt awkward. I thought. 'What's the best way to make this stop?' So I ripped off some words from Mary Poppins and said them fast, and the deacons are going, 'Yeah, all right!'"
Although many of his songs use religious themes, Brock describes himself as "not really religious at all," adding that "I'm 100 percent on the whole Christianity thing being a crock of shit, pretty much." He claims to "toy around with the whole Biblical thing," because it "just has amazing characters" and also identifies himself as "pretty much" an atheist.
Tasteful Editor:
You gotta figure a guy who spouts all the crap he does is hearing everything he knows third-hand from other ninnies; I doubt any of the pastors & so on at the Ignite Church have ever consciously listened to any lyrics beyond a simple chorus or some hair farmer chanting "Par-tay!" or the equivalent.
There's no accounting for taste, esp. musical. You'd expect Pastor Fuzz there to listen to Xian music only, but maybe this bro-dude for Jesus (& guns) stereotype requires an approximation of popular musical taste to go w/ the ball cap & face mullet.
Assault? Me? Editor:
Plus which: "Ass. rifle" is the generally accepted shorthand for rapid-firing long gun w/ a high-capacity magazine, & the term wasn't invented by a "gun-grabber." (By Krauts, I think, depending on translation.)
Woo. Not only "Germans." The German. (Or Austrian.)
The term assault rifle is a non-direct translation of the German word Sturmgewehr (literally "storm rifle", "storm" as in "military attack"). The name was coined by Adolf Hitler as a new name for the Maschinenpistole 43, subsequently known as the Sturmgewehr 44, the firearm generally considered the first assault rifle that served to popularize the concept and form the basis for today's modern assault rifles.
(Musta looked that up before.)
So shut up & live w/ it, Pastor.
