Out of touch? You bet your ass. I was laboring under the impression ExP was the biggest gang in Echo Park, turns out (if this is to be believed) power had shifted to the Echo Park Locos, & they've been gentrified out of Echo Park, able to return to the old 'hood to tag only on weekends.

And I was contemplating a hike one canyon west of Runyon Canyon today, but it looks as if healthy fun could easily be spoiled by an L.A.P.D. dragnet.

After 12 days of searching, authorities have taken their manhunt for a murder suspect to the Hollywood Hills.

The L.A. County Sheriff's Department along with other law enforcement agencies are sending in 50 personnel to comb the hills for any trace of the suspect 54-year-old Oscar Bridges, according to a statement from the department. The search is taking place in the hills above the Greek Theater and Runyon Canyon Park.
