A radical US-born Yemeni Islamist cleric has called for the killing of Americans in a new video message posted on radical web sites.
Anwar al-Awlaki said no permission was needed to kill Americans as they are from the "party of devils".
Well, just call us a "radical web site," then. Also
the Beeb.
"Kings, emirs, and presidents are not now qualified to lead the nation, or even a flock of sheep," he said.
"If the leaders are corrupt, the scholars have the responsibility to lead the nation."
Another vote for liberal academics.

This solves a problem as the lineup at the permissions counter was just too long to stand in.
The Permission to Kill Americans Department would be faster and more efficiently run, without queuing, if it were operated by private enterprise.
Second Amendment Editor Imagines:
As soon as the permissions counter is privatized & things get moving again, we'll find there are many Yanks more than willing to kill others (Of any nationality.) for absolutely nothing.
Profits are nice, but blood-lust is righteous.
