Chanced across Attack of the Giant Leeches on the telly over the wknd., & wondered about Yvette Vickers, who portrayed the backwoods tramp. Then L.A.'s hip mortician appeared to tell us the rest of the story. Mummified? Yikes.Hard to determine the complete circumstances of her death (or even the date thereof) but it may not have ended well for her. Although she could have died in her sleep, alone, unaware & at peace.

Is sort of thing why my last friend & sexual associate was scared of "dying alone"?
