Chronology is the easy way out, but more than one number from Absolutely Free wandered through the Bouffant brain while reminding myself of Freak Out! in yesterday's installment. A (relatively) more mature work that builds on the jaundiced view of socio-sexual relationships in these United Snakes expressed in Freak Out!, Absolutely Free turns its unsparing eye to the entire United Snakes, not just the dirty parts. (There's a reason we have a "Hatin' On America" category, stupid Yanks!)

American Pageant (2nd In A Series Of Underground Oratorios)".Best musicalideatheft ever? Stravinsky licks on the electric guitar, in "Invocation & Ritual Dance Of The Young Pumpkin", at (11:05) above. Jerry Garcia "jammin'", my ass, this is wailing!
