He is never alone. In the heart of the Oval Office, President Trump carries the weight of a nation on his shoulders. Every decision he makes, every battle he fights, is met with fierce resistance from those who wish to see America fall. The threats are relentless—seen and unseen, political and personal. But what his enemies fail to realize is that he is not without protection. Surrounding him, standing sight unseen, is a force more powerful than any earthly agency. These warriors—silent, watchful, unwavering—are the true Secret Service. Armed with the swords of Liberty, Truth, and Justice, they keep their vigil, shielding him from the darkness that seeks to consume the land he swore to defend. Millions pray for him. Millions pray for America. And those prayers are not in vain. The battle for the soul of a nation rages on, but the Commander-in-Chief does not stand alone. |
'Nother one of them substack "think pieces".
Trump hates Pope Leo because he sees himself as the real vicar of Christ
The president is trying to rebuild Christianity in his own image, but the first American pope is standing in the way
Into this vacuum stepped Donald Trump in 2015. The offer was explicit.
“Christianity is under tremendous siege,” he told a heavily Evangelical crowd in Iowa that year. “We are getting less and less and less powerful in terms of a religion, and in terms of a force. If I’m there, you’re going to have plenty of power. You don’t need anybody else.” It was a
Nietzschean Christian appeal to power rather than a show of humble faith. Together, Trump promised, we will seize control of the kingdoms of this world—an almost perfect recapitulation of Satan’s offer to Jesus in Matthew 4.
A few subheads:
Trump as the leader of reactionary Christians’ war on modernity
Remaking America through Trump Christianity
Christian nationalism is actually Evangelical supremacism
Sounds like
an outraged Catholic. Many links to blasphemous fun, however,
including the image. There's more ludicrous claptrap there than you can stand ("You'll plotz w/ laughter!") including Americana Art & Sacred Art.
