Good News

After losing my effing wallet I was unable to cancel my TAP Card. Now I can.
Metro announced Friday it has restored TAP card sales and reloads, allowing customers to again add fares, purchase new virtual cards and/or reload existing TAP cards via the TAP app, Apple wallet or through TAP vendors.

Customers who had been recently seeking to add funds to TAP cards via Metro’s website or customer service lines could have experienced issues due to Metro limiting access on internal administrative computer systems because of unauthorized activity.

Rail and bus service and transit safety and security systems were unaffected by the breach, according to Metro.

Still have to obtain a new one. And a new fucking Calif. I.D. card. Money & a visit to the DMV.

Have concluded that the wallet loss was due to weight loss. I have nowhere near the booty I used to (I sit on something hard like a bus bench & now feel my no-longer-padded pelvis on the metal.) & my 42" waist pants are baggy (been poking new holes in my belt regularly) & I s'pect I half-inserted the wallet in my hip pocket & didn't hear it hit the pavement as I was sporting headphones. Fuck me!!
