Try Talking Like That To Putin,
You Putz

We see that Newt Gingrich-style grifter cum presidential candidate-wannabe Ben Carson has mastered the "Any ad which quotes what I said on Sunday is a falsehood" part of Newtie's schtick.
Pressed by Blitzer on whether the comparison was appropriate, Carson argued his focus on the specific words was "part of the problem."

"What you were doing is allowing words to affect you more than listening to what was actually being said. And that's part of the problem," he said.

"You are just focusing on the words 'Nazi Germany' and completely missing the point of what is being said," he added.

He was also asked about comments that Obamacare was the "worst thing" that's happened in the U.S. "since slavery." Carson said whether the health care reform law was worse than other crises that have gripped the nation, like the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11 or the Great Depression, is "not the point."
Sweet Blood of Jesus, now Nazi comparisons are too subtle? And the "whatever happened to sticks & stones" bit (1:59): Are we on the playground or discussing public policy? One might even wonder how world leaders would react to a President Carson's "my words don't mean a thing, really, but you're still a damn Nazi" approach to semantics.

Also in the video, as transcribed by Crooks and Liars ((8:37) of Blitzer & Ben there, should you need a powerful distraction from a limb being amputated w/o an anaesthetic, let's say, & w/ a very dull lumber saw.):
"See, what you were doing is allowing words to affect you more than listening to what was actually being said," Carson insisted. "Nazi Germany experienced something horrible. The people in Nazi Germany largely did not believe in what Hitler was doing, but did they say anything? Of course not. They kept their mouths shut."
Any citation, basis in fact, whatever for the Krauts "largely" yada, Doc? As if most people don't just keep their mouths shut like good little girls & boys anyway, Nazi Germany or New Jersey. And is there even one actual example of "opponents" of the gov't. being "punished" by the I.R.S.S.? Oh, I'm sorry. Pay no attention to your words, just to "what was actually being said", right? So, telepathy?

Every single sentence: [Lazy & over-worked publisher/editor/typist refers you to (0:49) on the video.] If this is America (Carson says it is, but does he mean it?) & clowns walking down the street can say they don't feel free to say, "Y'know, like, uh, stuff that I feel ... dude", aren't they really free? At least enough to bitch & moan about their feelings? And is the Daddy Party now the Mommy Party? Didn't a concern for feelings used to be a sign of weakness? Also too, the gummint's telling people where to live? Is a Constitutional Amendment forbidding zoning laws going to be a plank of the 2016 G.O.P. platform?

Surgical hand-eye coördination aside/stipulated, does Dr. Carson seem a bit slow, off, &/or/also a doofus? I sincerely hope he doesn't "go into a tizzy" if certain words & phrases are used about him ("Sticks & stones," words have no meaning, don't forget what you said Doc. when it hits the fan!) should he decide to further his grift-through-candidacy. But it must be alright to call him an asshole, because what I mean is "Physician, heal thy sorry self."

And now, the big pictures: Are we destined to a successful-enough-in-previous-undertakings-but-goofy (probably due to that old time religion) African-American candidate through at least the first Republican primaries for the foreseeable future? (As if there is one.)

What is most despicable about Dr. Carson is that his inane babble "inspired" this reporter to type & polish this from maybe 1900 (off & on, w/ other iNternettery, preparing an eaten-while-typing meal, telebision eyeing, & every other distraction possible ...) until whenever the hell it's published.
