Putting on socks (Very formal for California.) to drop off my mail-in ballot at the precinct. Why do they expect us to pay postage to vote?
I vaguely remember one of the initial complaints about Oregon's vote-by-mail system was that the stamp was a poll tax. I always drop mine off anyway, it just doesn't feel right unless it goes in a box marked "ballots", ya know?
Postal Service Editor:Needed the walk anyway. And wanted the sticker.
