Darwin Award Handed Out In Studio City

Stupid jerks. At least they didn't take any one else w/ them.

Best part of the story:
The other two deceased were identified on Twitter and by friends, many of whom were among the estimated 80 people who gathered Sunday outside Reno's Pizzeria where a makeshift memorial had been set up. That gathering ultimately had to be broken up by the Los Angeles Police Department.
Think the mourners were all drunk too?

Yesterday, Humphrey explained that the city mandates that everyone—including Good Samaritans and victims of crimes—repay the city for paramedic and ambulance services. There were exceptions for low-income patients, but the city recouped $27 million from the seven fiscal years up to and including 2011.

That's the kind of city I want to live in.

I'd like the recoup the $3 Trillion for the Iraq war from G.E. and Exxon and company, meself.

But all the serious people agree we should pay for it by cutting Social Security and Medicare.

Yeah. God damn GE and Exxon and company for starting that evil fucking war.

If only we had some kind of political executive office, you know, some kind of commander in chief, who had the ultimate power and responsibility for deploying American military power. That would prevent these corporations from starting wars all on their own.

Of course, that guy could be responsible for the same kind of evil wars of aggression, so maybe it wouldn't be an improvement after all. I mean, jeezus, what if the American people elected a malevolent boob like GW Bush to that office?

Hah. Just remembered we still owe the city from an ambulance ride we took after some Limey opened his car door in front of our bicycle & we went over it & landed on our head. In 1974. May still owe the emergency room too.
