Religion Is a Mental Illness

You may never have seen anything as stupid in your life.

How long until some of these droolers go the Eric Rudolph/Timothy McVeigh route & decide to get some literal "fire" going wherever there's "impurity" (read: s-e-x). Or until they come to the conclusion that "God" wants them to "hit" the sinners w/ a load of buckshot or a .40 caliber round?

"Prophecies, dreams & visions. Prophetic words. Prophetic intercessor." If these people thought unicorns or extraterrestrials were telling them to "cry out for holiness & purity" they'd be medicated &, we hope, kept away from decent people. No more religious exemption for delusionality, we say!

Last rant on the subject: Why do they need "24/7 prayer & worship centers?" Didn't their space elf lead them to the I-35 corridor in the first place? Why does it need to be reminded of what it told its sheep to do in the first place? And why does it need to have its ass kissed 24/7? Their god is rather insecure to have been the creator of the universe. Are they sure they're not worshipping a liar? Perhaps the Prince of Lies? SATAN?

Malignant/Monsieur, that is really interesting. (I followed your link here from SadlyNo.) What occurred to me as I watched it was, there may be another dimension to it as well. I believe that this same highway may have been the focus of different political groups.

Check this out, World Net Daily, also Warriors for Truth.

And their more extreme Neo-nazi freinds at Stormfront.

The difference is, those sites are talking about how this highway is a horrible thing, while the religious types seem to be in love with it.

Before we even check your links, would this have sonething to do w/ the apparently imaginary "North American Superhighway" or whatever it is that will completely destroy American sovereignty & let everyone from north of Brazil into the country, blah, blah, blah?
This may be the "black helicopters" of this decade. And the concept of the religious wackos (Aren't they all?) being used to bring attention to this strip of sin or whatever it is by the "our sovereignty is threatened" element is a nice one. Thanks for the info, & don't be a stranger.

Totally, M. I think that this is linked up with exactly that legend, or belief or whatever you wanna call it about the "North American Superhighway". I'm not sure why, but the whole concept seems to make people's heads explode. Talk to ya soon!

Hah!! It may be shallow, but our knowledge is wide!!
Look for an item on this subject soon/eventually.

We read recently that Ron Paul made some sort of claim about the NASH, & a Dep't. of Transportation official said there was just no such thing. Hard to know who to believe (or disbelieve) but we really doubt that the DoT has a black budget for covert highway operations. (They might, though!)
