Los Angeles County health officials Tuesday issued a warning about black tar heroin that may be contaminated with a deadly bacteria.
Injection drug users are at the greatest risk, particularly those who inject heroin under their skin or into muscle.

Black tar heroin is contaminated from day one. The whole reason it's black and tar-like is because it's contaminated with 6-monoacetylcodeine due to not being properly refined into power heroin. Anybody injecting that shit lacks the brains that God gave a radish.
