Tool Time II

As phony as the day is long.
NaNoWriMo nothin', November is National Model Railroad Month, by National Model Railroad Association declaration.

In October, before I learned (still don't care) about model railroading month from some damn online hobby shop that has my e-mail I decided to change the track plan in a way that involved changing the layout too. Once I realized I could use milk crates for benchwork I promised myself I wouldn't do any carpentry (Who am I, Jesus H. Christ?) for the Hellbound Train to Nowhere but the necessity for more track length for operations & the good luck of finding former Ikea (& cheaper) three-quarters inch shelving all over the streets made me buy a hand saw, & now I've ordered a jigsaw, which I should have originally, as my ability to cut a straight line by hand & eye is poor. And I didn't intend to wire anything either (I'm not Edison either.) but I'll have to get a freaking soldering iron. Let's hope this wk.'s Friday Finger (if I get to it) won't be a shot of my bloody severed finger, or be dictated from a burn ward.

The track looped around the ominous industrial complex (note abandoned track at upper left) but I decided (not uninspired by a YouTube video) a yardstick bridge between the two peninsulas would be a better deal, & a spur may be run to the ominous plant via one peninsula or the other.
Obviously will involve adjustments to the plywood & pressboard. Can't wait to start sawing!

Jigsaw arrived! No wood is safe!!
Say, you think it would work as a bone saw?
Amazing, really. Ordered it yesterday & it was here before 1300, from Phoenix or somewhere, the environment be damned!
