Not mentioned is the giant asterisk that Republican Jesus-weasel "support" for Israel is predicated on Israel being there so their vicious thug gawd can kill 144,000 Hebrews or something, in order to bring about his great plan to destroy the cosmos. And defense industry campaign contributions for those who "support" Israel w/ weapons.Olivia Alafriz / Politico:Scott: ‘Obama is dead wrong’ on Israel-Hamas conflict — “From Obama to Biden, Democrats have a problem: supporting Israel always has an asterisk,” the South Carolina senator and presidential contender said in a statement. — Tim Scott on Saturday slammed Barack Obama as “dead wrong” …Phelan M. Levin's been at this crap for yrs. This item is from 22 July 2014. Note that it refers to Ukraine as well. Has your scummy species made any progress?Jeremy Barr / Washington Post:CNN criticizes Fox News host Mark Levin for describing Wolf Blitzer and Jake Tapper as “self-hating Jews” on his radio show citing Israel-Hamas war coverage — On his radio show, Levin also alleged that CNN journalists asking questions about the death toll in Gaza are ‘giving aid and comfort to the enemy’
Had to go here for the video because The Wrap doesn't give a good goddam. That insult was a heightened version of the criticism Stewart received after talking about Israel and Hamas last week. Conservative talk-show host Mark Levin, who is Jewish, noted that Stewart has made jokes about the Holocaust and had changed his last name from Leibowitz.“I despise the self-haters, I really do. I despise them,” Levin said Wednesday, adding that he doesn’t “trust Jews who change their names.”
The running joke of Monday’s segment was Stewart’s reluctance to say anything about Israel, for fear of inciting more criticism. But he did manage one sincere point.
“Look, obviously there are many strong opinions on this issue. But just merely mentioning Israel or questioning in any way the effectiveness or humanity of Israel’s policies is not the same thing as being pro-Hamas,” he said.
At that, Klepper called Stewart a “Zionist pig.””You know what,” Stewart said, crumpling up his notes. “Why don’t we talk about something lighter, like … Ukraine?”

The 2014 segment titled "We Need to Talk About Israel" highlights how little discourse has changed in a decade.
