Tweakers

Rick "Get a Brain" Moran, alleged not to be as slackjawed a drooler as many of his ilk (But if that allegation is so, why does he type at the bizarro American Thinker?) responded to the College Republican study w/ this paragraph:
I can already hear many commenters sharpening their pencils, ready to go after the youngsters for being RINOs. But the kids have correctly identified the problem. It isn't "tweaking the message" that will win back voters, it is a change in tone and attitude. One can stand on principle and still try to be inclusive, tolerant, and welcoming. It's a no brainer - except that most in the party haven't figured it out yet.
Not sure about the difference between message tweaking & changing tone & attitude, 'though tweaking the message often means "shut up about your retrograde sexual & social attitudes & don't call those bitches sluts so often in public," but the clue Moran needs is that when the party's very fucking "principles" are opposed to inclusion, tolerance & welcoming, changing tone & attitude will either require most of the party's desires to be hidden away or flat-out lying about the party's once-in-office goals.
