But what is it about people employed by Washington shit-holes like the Cate Institute that makes them type drivel like this?

In case Mr. Cato Institute hasn't noticed (It's hard to do from the Institute's ivory tower.) the "American People" can't control their spending, their weight, their monstrous offspring, their cars or much of anything else, including, if the tee vee adverts to which we're constantly exposed are any indication, their fucking cell 'phone & cable telebision bills. You'd think the sort of jagoff who cloisters himself in the pseudo-academia of the Washington Institutional Village would come to grips w/ the fact that he's at some institution or other in order to get away from the masses, & then have the decency to stop appealing to them as if they'll ever again make any difference in anything.
