According to LADWP, the employees were attempting to perform a scheduled water shutoff when the incident occurred. The workers, who were unharmed, moved to a safe location and contacted LADWP Security and the Los Angeles Police Department.
Dunno what a "scheduled" water shutoff is, but if the DWP employees were trying to cut off the water, what the hell's he or she supposed to do? And what did the heat do to the irate property owner/renter? Inquiring minds want to know, mynewsLA.com!
